'Golden' from 'KPop Demon Hunters' rises to No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100, tops global charts
"Golden," a track from the animated U.S. film "KPop Demon Hunters," continued its chart climb this week, rising to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Sung by Huntr/x, a fictional girl group featured in the Netflix original movie, the song jumped two spots from last week's No. 4, Billboard said Monday in a preview of the upcoming chart.

The song debuted at No. 81 earlier this month and has steadily risen through No. 23, No. 6 and No. 4 before reaching its current position.
The Billboard Hot 100 ranks the most popular songs in the United States across all genres, based on streaming, radio airplay and sales data.

Rumi, Mira, & Zoey: part K-Pop group, part demon hunters, part Three Stooges.

When you think of CGI animated films, you likely think of Pixar. The studio practically invented the genre with 1995’s Toy Story — the first CGI animated feature film.

After Toy Story, almost all animation studios wanted to follow in Pixar’s successful footsteps, straight down to their style. Many studios sought out “The Pixar Look”: extremely high quality, physically based, and in some cases almost photorealistic.

It’s an appealing approach that remains popular at the box office — but animated movies started looking kind of homogeneous. And while studios and independent artists tested out more stylized approaches in short films, no studio would commit to a feature-length animated movie that looked so different.

That is, until Sony Pictures/Imageworks took on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Instead of chasing the look everyone was after, the team wanted to create something visually new. They did it with “non-photorealistic rendering.”

And since Spider-Verse, non-photorealism has taken off, with almost every studio set to incorporate it in the next five years. Check out our video to learn more about how non-photorealism works.

Hello friends, Martin here, and this time we’ll have a look at a much requested feature of Marvelous Designer - the ability to animate the clothing and then export this animation, in our case, to Blender.

UV PROBLEM SOLUTION:
If you encounter a problem where the Mesh Sequencer Modifier is overwriting the UVs of your model, what I would suggest is: 1) export your Mesh from MD as FBX, Single object, Scale in meters. 2) Import the FBX into blender and adjust your UVs on this model 3) Export your Animation from MD as MDD (Standard) format, again, Scale in Meters) 4) Select your Mesh in Blender, and import MDD cache. Your clothing should now animate, and the UVs should stay the same.
If you can not export/import MDD in Blender, make sure you activate NewTek MDD plugin in Preferences - Addons.

I will try to figure out how to make this work with allembic format, but using MDD should be fine, though you will probably have to rotate your mesh.
